Cooking In Brooke's Kitchen

Hi my name is Brooke. When I was 6 years old my cousin who was 5 at the time was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was a very scary time. When I was 7 I did not think the doctors were working fast enough to make her better. So, I created a book of recipes from family and friends, it was huge. 117 pages Double sided. I raised enough money for two research fellowships for childhood Leukemia. It was so much fun and I had so many requests for second book, I did it Again. The second book is beautiful, again recipes from family and friends along with Shania and Anne Murray. My second book was published December 2004.

The author of the chicken soup books contacted us all the way from California. Patty Hansen has written a story about my project in Chicken Soup for the Pre-Teen Soul 2.
