Therapy Alpacas
I am a preacher who is adamant that pets can be good for our health and well-being. Companion animals are being introduced into the therapeutic regimens of many health care institutions: nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, psychiatric institutions and other facilities. Therapeutic animals can be used in so many ways such as riding programs, prisons use animals with inmates so that offenders can learn empathy and compassion, autistic children can swim dolphins, and alpacas are used on our farm. With a little bit of creativity and the proper temperament animal, the bond between humans and animals is just amazing. Special animals that unite with special people will benefit mutually! We pride in raising special alpacas for this purpose. Not all animals will have this unique characteristic, but we hand select special alpacas that have this ability. If you have a special animal that you think could have the temperament to be a therapy animal, contact Nancy, and let's see if we can help.
